Introduction to aptitude and Reasoning

 Aptitude:

In English, Aptitude means "a natural ability to do something".

1.Quantitative Aptitude: The problems are based on math's.

Example: The length and breadth are increased by 15% and 25% respectively.
What is the percentage increase in the area of rectangle?
area=l*b
l'(new l)=l+0.15l=1.15l
b'=1.25b
new area=1.44lb
new area=lb+0.44lb
then new Area is increased by 44% of old area.

2.Logical Ability: The problems are based on logical thinking.

Example: 2,12,36,80, 150, ?.
                                                          here in this sequence,
2=1^2+1^3
12=2^2+2^3
? (6th place) =6^2+6^3=252.

3.Verbal Ability: The questions are based on English language.

Example: the synonym of IMPLORE is BEG.

4.Data Interpretation: The problems contain data in the form of table, graph etc.
